During the last fifteen years, the service contract and warranty industries have evolved substantially, both in the terms of industry participation and government regulation. In light of our firm’s extensive insurance and general regulatory background, we have the experience and history necessary to assist national service contract and extended warranty programs achieve and maintain regulatory compliance.
 
We serve as the general counsel to both the Service Contract Industry Council and the Florida Service Agreement Association and have drafted and implemented the significant changes to statutes and rules governing automobile, home and consumer goods service contracts throughout the United States for the last 20 years. We represent insurers, administrators, manufacturers, and retailers regarding their service contract and warranty specific regulatory matters. We have aided companies in securing service contract license or registration approval in all states, and have prepared detailed regulatory compliance action plans to assist companies in identifying and understanding the current laws and regulations applicable to this constantly changing industry.
